Upon her breast, he lay his head,
Their dreams had all come true.
The many times they both had said,
"I want to be with you."

Together now so wrapped in love,
No words were even said.
His gentle hands caress and rub,
While she just strokes his head.

Just bathing in the after glow,
Of having shared each other.
While in their hearts, they both do know,
There's never been another.

Who made them feel the way they do,
So loved and so alive.
The love they have, they know is true,
For years it did survive.

The love they shared so many years,
On their computer screens.
The happy times and times of tears,
The sharing of their dreams.

Their love had grown and flourished,
Over years, deep in their heart.
Their love they had kept nourished,
Even though they were apart.

Their future, they had never planned,
They knew there'd come a day.
When fate would take them by the hand,
And love would find its way.

The pictures that they both had sent,
When meeting at the start.
Had only served to represent,
The loved one in their heart.

Never had they ever known,
A love like this before.
Each had loved and been alone,
But this was so much more.

Now the time had finally come,
It was their destiny.
Patience does work out for some,
If love is meant to be.

They hold each other through the night,
So thankful for their fate.
Together all the world seems right,
Their love was worth the wait.

They need not even verbalize,
The words they both do know.
And as he looks into her eyes,
The love begins to flow.

There are no words that can convey,
A feeling such as this.
He lifts his head as if to say,
I'll show you with a kiss.

He pulls her gently close to him,
And kisses her so sweet.
And still no words were spoken then,
As slowly their eyes meet.

They have waited for so long,
To hold each other tight.
When the timing was all wrong,
Just longing for this night.

She nuzzles closer to him,
Tears of joy run down her face.
What had started as a whim,
Had brought them to this place.

Their love was now so beautiful,
They finally got to meet.
Their hearts and lives were now so full,
It has been made complete.

They look into each others eyes,
With love that is so right.
And smile because they realize,
No typing late this night.
